Baku, Azerbaijan, Nov. 9 By Anakhanum Hidayatova – Trend: The US will continue to work with Azerbaijan in all spheres of cooperation, US Ambassador to Azerbaijan Robert Cekuta told reporters in Baku Nov. 9. “I think there are some basic, long-standing principles in the US relations with Azerbaijan,” he said. “If you look over the course we have been 25 years together.” “We have been working on building strong security relationship supporting Azerbaijan's security, stability and independence,” he said. “We have worked together on Azerbaijan's economic prosperity that includes oil and gas and the country’s economic diversification.” “The election process in the US is not over,” he said. “Now President Trump will need to begin developing his policy as part of transition effort,” Cekuta added.
