Katherine Birch

Research Intern
Katherine Birch is a Research Intern at the Caspian Policy Center. She is a dual degree master's student pursuing a Master of Global Policy Studies with a concentration in international security and a Master of Arts in Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies at the LBJ School of Public Affairs. In addition to studying as an exchange student at the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin, Germany, Katherine has experience working at various think tanks in both the United States and Europe as well as in the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor. Her primary interests include Russian foreign policy, Eurasian politics, and mis/disinformation studies.
