The Caspian Policy Center has collected data from the Agency of Statistics Under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Interstate Statistics Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States to determine the population growth trend of Uzbekistan from 1991 to 2023. Uzbekistan's population has experienced a significant and steady population increase since 1991, increasing by 75.6% within this period. This represented the 2nd largest population increase within the Caspian Region, only behind Tajikistan (81.3% increase since 1991). Uzbekistan's population has increased from 20,613,200 in 1991 to 36,197,800 in 2023.
