On July 6, the Caspian Policy Center hosted a closed discussion on supporting small- and medium-sized enterprises in Azerbaijan with Orkhan Mammadov, Chairman of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency of Azerbaijan. Mammadov briefed CPC board members and staff on strategies implemented by the Azerbaijani government to promote SME growth following the economic challenges brought on by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. He also discussed the inclusion of green energy approaches and plans to incorporate smart cities into the country.
