After recent events in Central Asia and Afghanistan, Ambassador Baktybek Amanbaev of Kyrgyzstan and representatives of Kyrgyzstan’s Embassy in Washington, D.C. attended a meeting with the Caspian Policy Center and shared their thoughts on current regional and global issues. Ambassador Amanbaev discussed challenges facing the region and opportunities for U.S.-Kyrgyz cooperation. The meeting included members of Kyrgyzstan’s Embassy and Caspian Policy Center senior fellows and staff.
