Tajikistan imports many items that many Caspian region countries do: technological equipment, industrial equipment, and meat. However, they also import wine and beer from the United States, which is atypical of Caspian countries. The United States imports mainly bauxite and aluminum from Tajikistan, which contrasts many Caspian countries that export fuel to the US.
